Every major publisher — Elsevier, Springer Nature, Wiley, Nature, Science, even the open-review platforms built for speed like F1000Research — treats AI as a tool for light editing at most. Content generation is explicitly outside their authorship rules. Level 3 is not a gap in that standard. It's a different answer to the same accountability question: instead of prohibiting AI-primary drafting, we require full disclosure of it, and we hold the human author fully responsible for verifying every claim the result contains. The risk the field is worried about — unverified, unowned claims — is addressed by ownership, not by prohibition.
Undeterred Press does not accept clinical, diagnostic, or treatment-efficacy content — medical, pharmacological, or otherwise — where an erroneous claim could lead to direct physical harm. This is a single-editor outlet without a clinical review board, and no disclosure standard substitutes for the institutional infrastructure that kind of claim requires. Health policy and health-economics research fall within scope; treatment and diagnostic claims do not.
